Destination Mindanao

Davao City is considered the world's largest city in terms of land area which is 2,443.6 square kilometers. It has an estimated population of 1,006,84 accounting to 19% of the entire Southern Mindanao region. It is the second biggest urban market within the East ASEAN Growth Polygon. 

 

The security of Davao City can not be questioned because of the measures taken by its current leadership. Crime levels are remarkably low given the national average and the emergency response system is excellent in terms of performance and track record. The headquarters of PEEP-Davao will be Mountain View Resort in Orange Grove Estate along Carlos P. Garcia Highway (or locally known as the Diversion Road). Campsite will be in Samal Island in Davao Gulf. The island is composed of limestone terrain and relies on coconut as its primary cash crop.
